'For my PhD research I had the honour to visit Polytechnic of Rijeka in
October 2019. I had the pleasure to share and exchange experience with
students and colleagues from Rijeka. During the meeting with the academic
staff of Polytechnic of Rijeka we exchanged our views and issues for the
economic challenges in North Macedonia and Croatia which is one of the
main countries where the European economic fundaments meet the
entrepreneurship in the Balkans. This can be a stepping stone in our
regional journey to achieve the European standards and opportunities.
I am very grateful for having the opportunity of visiting Polytechnic of
Rijeka and this warm and welcoming city.'
