It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the International Scientific Conference TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS 2026. The conference will be held on April 16–17, 2026, in Opatija and Rijeka, Republic of Croatia. The first day of the conference will take place at Hotel Ambasador in Opatija, while the second day will be hosted at the University of Applied Sciences of Rijeka.

This conference provides an excellent platform for scholars, professionals, and industry experts to present and exchange their latest research findings, innovations, and insights in the field of transport and logistics. Participants will have the opportunity to share their work and engage in discussions on the most current and significant topics listed below.

Notification of abstract acceptance 10 days after abstract submission

Full paper submission 01.03.2026.

Notification of full papers acceptance (subject to possible requested changes) 3 weeks after paper submission

Submission of revised full papers 2 weeks after review notice

Conference fee payment until after final paper acceptance

💳 Conference Fee

The standard conference fee is 300 EUR.
Members of the Croatian Scientific Society for Transport (HZDP) are entitled to a reduced fee of 150 EUR, while students are exempt from paying the conference fee.

The registration fee covers participation in all conference sessions, conference materials, coffee breaks, the conference gala dinner, and the technical excursion on the second day of the conference, including a visit to one of the local wineries, as well as a certificate of attendance.

PAPER SUBMISSION

• The Conference Programme Committee has the honor to invite you to submit your abstracts and full papers using https://www.veleri.hr/hr/form/transport-logistics-prijava 
• Authors are invited to submit papers with a length of 6-10 pages in Croatian or English language which are the official languages of the scientific conference.
• All submitted papers are subject to the peer review process. At least two reviewers will be assigned to review each paper.
• Each author may submit no more than two papers.

The conference will take place in Opatija–Rijeka, a coastal region known for its historic charm and modern infrastructure.

Participants are advised to book accommodation in Opatija or Rijeka. A list of recommended hotels, including options for discounted rates, will be published on the official website.

- Zagreb Airport (ZAG) – 160 km

- Trieste Airport (TRS), Italy – 110 km

Public transportation and transfer options will be made available online.

Presentation Guidelines

Each accepted paper must be presented at the conference. Presentations can be delivered in person.

In justified cases, online presentation may be approved upon request.

Presentation duration: 10 minutes + 5 minutes for discussion

Presentation language: Croatian or English

Slides may be prepared in either of the official conference languages.

Conference Proceedings

All accepted papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings with an ISBN number.

Proceedings will be available in digital format, and optionally in printed form upon request.

The official publication date is scheduled for April 2026, and all authors will receive a certificate of publication and participation.

Selected high-quality papers will be published in the Journal of the University of Applied Sciences of Rijeka (indexed in WoS – Web of Science) and in a special issue of the scientific journal Modern Traffic, to be issued in English.
